Let’s go on a summer vacation trip to Mokpo in 2024! 🚘 (Part 1)

about the summer vacation trip I took in 2024

I'll be sharing my itinerary for the Mokpo trip! Haha

 

First, I was debating whether to take the train

but I decided to drive instead!

 

I started my journey around 5:40 a.m.!

 

 

 

Let’s go for the 379 km drive!!

 

It was a bit congested only when leaving Seoul,

The way down was smooth and easy! 😊

 

We stopped at rest areas about twice on the way! 😊

 

It took about 5 hours. 

Finally saw the Mokpo tollgate! 😊

 

 

As soon as we arrived, the first thing we did was 

We went to a diner and had breakfast! 😊

 

 

On my taste, the baekban (a type of Korean set meal) is

On my taste, the baekban didn’t quite suit me...

 

The second time, we didn’t have lunch and...

We went ahead with D.D.D.! 😊 (D.D.D. stands for Dessert.Dessert.Dessert)

At two bakeries 

I bought and ate shrimp baguettes from each bakery! Haha.

The famous maritime cable car in Mokpo

I went to ride it! Haha

 

 

There are two types of maritime cable cars in Mokpo.

There is a regular cable car and a crystal cable car! 

 

First of all, the regular cable car has a solid floor...

The crystal cable car, on the other hand, has a transparent floor... offering a clear view below...

My... wife said it was fun, but...".

I’m a bit of a scaredy-cat, so I was a little frightened! 😅

 

But the view of Mokpo from the cable car was beautiful! Haha.

 

 

 

 

Ta-da! The view is amazing! Haha.
